Frequently asked questions
Who are the most popular vegan activists?
On the itsvegan community ranking, Ed Winters (Earthling Ed) is currently #1.
How does the ranking work?
The ranking is recalculated every hour from community upvotes (the strongest signal), how many members recommend the profile, profile views over the last 30 days and — when the person or a moderator adds them with a source — public follower counts, which are log-scaled so huge accounts can’t drown out everyone else.
How can I add myself or suggest someone?
Anyone can add a publicly vegan person with a link to a source where they say they are vegan (an interview, article or their own post). If you are vegan yourself — athlete, creator, musician, author or activist — tick “This is me” when you add your profile: it’s free, and you’ll manage it and get the “claimed” tick.
Is this you? Can I claim or remove a profile?
Yes. Open the profile and choose “Claim this profile” to manage your bio, photo, links and follower counts, or use “Report” to request a correction or removal. We review every request.
